Hi everyone! My name is Alicia, but you can call me Ali  (⁄ ⁄>⁄▽⁄<⁄ ⁄)

I’m the Founder & CEO of Bonsai Animations, and the writer of The SYX. Storytelling has always been a part of me. Since I was young, I’ve been daydreaming about new characters and worlds to bring to life.

I’m so grateful to be working with an amazing team whose passion and talent bring both The SYX and Bonsai to life. When I’m not writing or working on Bonsai, you’ll probably find me playing The Sims or watching horror movies I’ll regret later at night.

I love exploring new stories and discovering the incredible worlds within them. I’m passionate about art, sports, travelling to new places, and meeting new people. I fall in love with life a little more every day, and how it can inspire you to create new things. I’m a firm believer that stories have the power to change the world.

I’m half German, half Greek, and was raised in Hong Kong. I’m passionate about animals, climate action, and making things run smoothly behind the scenes. At Bonsai, I take care of the business side so our creative team can thrive. Outside of work, I love spending time with friends, reading, and travelling.
